Getting Started

What services do you offer? +

We specialize in hormone replacement therapy (HRT) for women in perimenopause and menopause, and testosterone replacement therapy (TRT) for men. We also offer bioidentical hormone therapy, peptide therapy, medical weight loss with GLP-1 medications, and a full menu of wellness injections, all tailored to support your overall wellness, energy, and vitality.

Do I need a consultation before starting treatment? +

Yes, all new clients begin with an initial free Wellness Intro Call to make sure our services are right for you. From there, you'll have an in-depth Consultation Visit with comprehensive labs, where we review your health history, symptoms, and goals. This allows us to create a personalized treatment plan tailored to your needs.

How do I book an appointment? +

Booking is simple. You can schedule online or contact us directly to find a time that works for you. Weekend appointments are available.

Where are you located, and do you serve out-of-state clients? +

We are based in Gilbert, Arizona and currently serve Arizona residents only. Our office is in the Gilbert Professional Park on Gilbert Rd between Elliot Rd and Warner Rd, and we serve patients throughout Gilbert, Chandler, Mesa, Queen Creek, and the East Valley of Phoenix.

Does becoming a client mean you are my primary care provider? +

No, we do not replace your primary care provider (PCP). We specialize in hormone optimization and wellness but recommend that you continue seeing your PCP for general health concerns, preventive care (such as mammograms and pap smears), and more. At your request, we can share records with your primary provider.

Do you offer telehealth appointments? +

Yes! We offer virtual consultations and telehealth appointments for Arizona residents, making it easy to receive expert care from the comfort of your home. Some services may require an in-person visit, but a significant portion of your care can happen virtually.

Hormone Therapy

What is bioidentical hormone therapy (BHRT)? +

Bioidentical hormones are chemically identical to the hormones your body naturally produces. Unlike synthetic hormones, BHRT is designed to match your body's own structure, which often results in better tolerance and more natural-feeling effects. We customize each protocol based on your bloodwork, symptoms, and goals.

Do you require lab work before treatment? +

In most cases, yes. Lab work helps us assess your hormone levels and ensure a safe, effective treatment plan. If you have recent comprehensive lab results from the last 3 months, we may be able to use those instead of repeating tests.

How long until I feel results? +

Most patients begin noticing improvements in energy and sleep within 2 to 4 weeks. Mood, libido, and mental clarity often improve by week 4 to 6. Body composition changes (muscle gain, fat loss) typically appear between months 2 and 3. Full optimization usually takes 90 to 180 days as we fine-tune your protocol based on follow-up labs.

Is hormone therapy safe? +

When properly supervised and personalized, hormone therapy is very safe. We monitor your blood markers regularly to catch any issues before they become problems. The risks people associate with hormones usually come from outdated synthetic formulations or unsupervised use, not from a properly managed, bioidentical, lab-monitored protocol.

Will I have to be on hormones for the rest of my life? +

Not necessarily. We tailor each patient's plan to their personal goals. Some patients choose to stay on long-term for ongoing optimization and protection against age-related decline, while others use hormone therapy short-term to get through a specific life stage like perimenopause. We never pressure patients to continue therapy longer than they want to.

What is peptide therapy? +

Peptides are short chains of amino acids that act as signaling molecules in the body. They can be used to support muscle growth, accelerate fat loss, improve recovery, enhance sleep, and promote longevity. We use peptides like Sermorelin and others alongside hormone therapy or as a stand-alone treatment, depending on your goals.

Women's Hormone Therapy

How do I know if I'm in perimenopause? +

Perimenopause can begin in your 30s or 40s, often years before your last period. Common signs include irregular cycles, mood swings, brain fog, sleep issues, weight gain, hot flashes, and decreased libido. Bloodwork helps confirm what's happening, and we treat based on symptoms plus lab data, not just age.

Can hormone therapy help with weight gain during menopause? +

Yes. As estrogen declines, fat redistributes (especially around the midsection) and muscle mass decreases, both of which slow your metabolism. Restoring hormonal balance helps improve body composition, reduce belly fat, and make weight loss efforts more effective. Many women also benefit from combining hormone therapy with our medical weight loss program.

Will hormone therapy help with hot flashes and night sweats? +

Yes, this is one of the most well-established benefits of hormone replacement therapy. Most women experience significant reduction or complete elimination of hot flashes and night sweats within the first few weeks of starting treatment.

I've heard hormone therapy causes cancer. Is that true? +

The concern about hormone therapy and cancer largely came from a 2002 study (the Women's Health Initiative) that used synthetic hormones in older women. Modern research on bioidentical hormones in younger, healthy women has shown a very different safety profile. We carefully review your personal and family history, monitor your bloodwork, and design protocols based on the latest evidence to minimize risk while maximizing benefit.

Men's Hormone Therapy (TRT)

How do I know if I have low testosterone? +

Symptoms alone aren't enough, you need bloodwork. We test total and free testosterone, plus related markers like SHBG, estradiol, and DHT to get the full picture. Many men have testosterone in the "normal range" on paper but feel terrible because their levels are at the bottom of that range. We treat the person, not just the lab number.

Will TRT affect my fertility? +

Standard TRT can reduce sperm production while you're on it. If fertility is a current or future concern, we can include adjunct medications (like HCG) in your protocol to preserve testicular function. Just bring this up during your consultation and we'll build your plan accordingly.

Do I have to inject myself? +

You have options. Most men choose self-administered injections (the needles are small and it takes seconds), but we also offer testosterone creams and other delivery methods. We'll discuss what fits your lifestyle and preferences during your visit.

What if I want to stop TRT later? +

No problem. We can taper you off safely with a restart protocol designed to help your body resume natural production. We never pressure patients to stay on therapy longer than they want to.

Medical Weight Loss

How much weight can I realistically expect to lose? +

Most patients on GLP-1 medications lose 15 to 20% of their body weight over 12 months. For someone who weighs 200 pounds, that's 30 to 40 pounds. Results vary based on starting weight, the medication chosen, lifestyle changes, and how your body responds. We track your progress closely and adjust your plan to maximize results.

What's the difference between Semaglutide and Tirzepatide? +

Both are GLP-1 receptor agonists that reduce appetite and improve blood sugar. Tirzepatide is a dual-action medication that also targets a second receptor (GIP), and research shows it tends to produce greater weight loss than Semaglutide. We help you choose the right one based on your goals, medical history, and how your body responds.

Will I gain the weight back when I stop? +

This is why we focus on more than just the medication. Throughout your program, we address the underlying hormone and metabolic factors, support muscle preservation, and build sustainable habits, so your body is set up to maintain results long after the medication ends.

Are there side effects with GLP-1 medications? +

The most common side effects are mild nausea, fatigue, or constipation during the first few weeks as your body adjusts. We start at low doses and titrate up slowly to minimize side effects. Most patients adjust comfortably, and we're available to support you through any issues that come up.

Cost & Logistics

Do you accept insurance? +

No, we are a cash-based practice and do not accept insurance. By not working with insurance, we can provide comprehensive and customized hormone therapy without treatment restrictions or unnecessary delays. This allows us to focus on optimizing your health rather than meeting insurance company requirements.

Our pricing is transparent, and we're happy to provide a superbill for you to submit for potential reimbursement if your plan allows.

How much do hormone services cost? +

Programs for women typically range between $1,500 to $2,500, depending on lab complexity, hormones needed, and duration of care. We'll go over your exact plan and options during your initial Visit.

Can I use my HSA or FSA? +

Yes, in most cases hormone therapy, peptide therapy, and medical weight loss are HSA and FSA eligible expenses. We can provide receipts and superbills for reimbursement purposes. Always check with your specific plan administrator to confirm what's covered.

Where do I get my medications from? +

We work with trusted compounding pharmacies that can ship your medications directly to your home for convenience and privacy. Compounded medications are often more affordable than brand-name versions and allow us to customize dosing to your specific needs.
